Out House Manchester have been keeping Stevenson Square colourful since 2010, with artists painting new designs on the central three blocks every three months.
Organised quickly in the days after the bomb attack, artists painted new artworks with the aim of bringing people together and celebrating Manchester. One piece – Candle in the Wind – was created by a visiting artist from London who just happened to walk by and offered to contribute a piece. The others have been produced by the following artists:
Tasha Whittle
Jay Sharples
Russ Mehan (Mural Life)
Nick Hamilton (Hammo)
