The most comprehensive map of its kind, the Manchester Bees map demonstrates the spread of Bee iconography across Manchester City Centre and beyond. Divided into five categories, each identified by colour-coded bees:
The locations of bees that adorn the exterior of buildings.
The location of Manchester's famous Bee Bollards. Over time I hope to document their spread across the city.
(see Bees, Bins and Bollards for more details).
The location of bees that can no longer be found in-situ, due to their temporary nature or the passage of time.
The locations of bees that can only be found inside buildings, which may be inaccessible.
The location of city centre beehives, some of which form part of Manchester's River of Flowers.
