I’ve previously written about some of the harder-to-find bees dotted across Manchester in various articles, but I thought it would be nice to bring a few of them together in a single post, while also highlighting a few I’ve not featured on the site before.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Deansgate Tram Stop<\/strong><\/p>\n If you happen to be standing on this station platform, look up at the overhead roof and you’ll see a pattern of differently shaped white leaves strewn along its surface. Since the time of the original article, the Ice Box has been covered in triangular coloured shapes, but fortunately, the bee wasn’t covered over and is still easy to find if you know where to look.<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”http:\/\/manchesterbe.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/1141.jpg” align=”center” align_tablet=”center” align_phone=”” align_last_edited=”on|desktop” admin_label=”Image” _builder_version=”4.0.6″ use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid” sticky=”off” always_center_on_mobile=”on”] [\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.0.6″] Principal Hotel<\/strong><\/p>\n While the clock tower<\/a> gets all the glory, there are actually a few bees located inside the hotel, adorning the Director\u2019s stairwell located under the tower, appearing as a running motif on each floors bronze banisters.<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”http:\/\/manchesterbe.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Bees-bees-bees-017-Low-Res.jpg” align=”center” _builder_version=”4.0.6″][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.0.6″ hover_enabled=”0″] Cathedral Gardens<\/strong><\/p>\n If you have a good old explore are the water feature, you\u2019ll eventually find this shiny little bee, flying across the water\u2019s surface. <\/p>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”http:\/\/manchesterbe.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/239.jpg” _builder_version=”4.0.6″ align=”center” hover_enabled=”0″][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.0.6″] Manchester Cathedral<\/strong><\/p>\n Hidden on the back of the red choir stalls are 22 small, beautifully crafted, bees. In addition, there\u2019s a small hive beneath an altar. The Hive is featured above, while the bees are below.
