Strengthening than link, two bees were introduced to Boddingtons logo in 1900. Linking the brand to the city, but also acting a pun on the company name \u2013 Boddingtons Breweries. Unfortunately, Boddingtons ceased to be brewed in Manchester in 2004, and the brand has been a decline for many years. But you can still find the occasional signage still dotted around the city. As can be seen below, it featured a simplified design of the logo.\r\n\r\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image _builder_version=”3.0.60″ src=”http:\/\/manchesterbe.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/068.jpg” show_in_lightbox=”off” url_new_window=”off” use_overlay=”off” sticky=”off” align=”center” always_center_on_mobile=”on” border_style=”solid” max_width=”400px” force_fullwidth=”off” \/][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.0.60″ background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” border_style=”solid”]\r\n\r\nOver in Hulme, a more permanent reminder can be found above the entrance to Bright Eyes Nursery on Royce Road.
